FAQS

Is traveling with a hotel on wheels for me?

Traveling with our hotel on wheels is a fantastic way to explore Iceland, especially if you love freedom, flexibility, and adventure while still enjoying the necessary comfort. Our hotel on wheels is fully equipped to provide you with all the comforts: shower, toilet, comfortable bed with privacy, etc. Furthermore, we always sleep in the middle of nature, and the view from your bed changes every day!

I'm an introvert, is a group trip suitable for me?

So are we! Traveling in a group can be challenging for introverted individuals because it often means spending a lot of time in close proximity to others. However, this doesn't mean that this trip isn't suitable for introverted travelers. We travel in a small group, so you'll quickly feel connected to everyone. We value "me-time" and create enough space for everyone to retreat and recharge. Furthermore, we always attract travelers with similar interests, and the Icelandic nature provides plenty of space to unwind. Our trips are the perfect place to expand your comfort zone, meet new people, and gain valuable experiences.

Can my dog come along?

It is very difficult to travel to Iceland with a dog from mainland Europe. A dog must undergo a 2-week quarantine upon arrival in Iceland, and costs can amount to €4000. We also leave Kyra at home.

How is the weather in Iceland?

The weather in summer in Iceland is generally milder than in winter, but it can still be quite variable and unpredictable. Iceland's climate is influenced by its northern location and the presence of the Atlantic Ocean. Expect long days, changeable weather, rain, wind, and sun. In short, summer is a great time to visit Iceland due to the longer days and milder weather, but it's important to be prepared for rapidly changing weather conditions.

How physically challenging is this adventure?

For this adventure, you should be in good health. Additionally, you should be able to comfortably hike 20 kilometers without any issues.

How large is the group?

Our bus can accommodate 9 passengers. Therefore, we take a maximum of 7 guests. The small group size immediately creates a cozy atmosphere and a sense of camaraderie.

What should I bring?

Upon booking this trip, you will receive a roadbook from us with a detailed packing list. Essential items to bring for a trip through Iceland include hiking boots (type B!), a raincoat, and warm layers.
